The area has also been set up on Mount Fenera Site of Community Interest (IT1120003).
On its territory were found the remains of Neanderthal Man, Culture Mousterian (late Paleolithic) and the cave bear: the karst has indeed formed severalcavities in which these discoveries were made.

Inauguration of Villa Nigra exhibitions
This Saturday, September 23rd, two new Asilo Bianco exhibitions will be inaugurated in the marvelous Villa Nigra in Miasino (NO, Lake Orta): L’altra pelle, a solo exhibition by Valerio Tedeschi, and Wild Matrix of La Tana dei Lupi Gentili – Irene Lupia and Giulia Gentilcore.
