La Bocciola Sanctuary – Ameno
The origin of this Sanctuary goes back to an episode in 1543 when the “Holy Virgin appeared to a young girl who tended her animals there”. Later in the 1700’s a few healings and miraculous circumstanced are recorded. The young girl, dumb from birth, lived in a house that is still visible along the road leading to the Sanctuary.

Inauguration of Villa Nigra exhibitions
This Saturday, September 23rd, two new Asilo Bianco exhibitions will be inaugurated in the marvelous Villa Nigra in Miasino (NO, Lake Orta): L’altra pelle, a solo exhibition by Valerio Tedeschi, and Wild Matrix of La Tana dei Lupi Gentili – Irene Lupia and Giulia Gentilcore.
