Paride Iaretti Gattinara Wines is a small winery in Alto Piemonte. Founded in the early 2000s from the passion of Paride Iaretti, the company has transformed a family tradition into a solid and structured project, today strongly oriented towards promoting the territory and the area’s typical wines.
The winery has approximately 4.5 hectares of estate-owned vineyards, planted exclusively to Nebbiolo, producing 25,000-30,000 bottles annually. Production includes Gattinara DOCG Pietro, Gattinara DOCG Vigna Valferana, Gattinara DOCG Riserva, Coste della Sesia DOC Nebbiolo Velut Luna, and Colline Novaresi DOC Nebbiolo.
Over the years, the winery’s wines have received numerous awards and recognitions, a testament to their constant attention to product quality.
We are working to make our brand increasingly known in Italy but also and above all beyond its borders.
That’s why we decided to contact you, so that the many tourists who visit our area can also experience the producers of truly excellent wines. I believe Paride Iaretti wines are among them.
The new winery in the heart of Gattinara
In 2016, we completed construction of our new winery, located on the edge of the forest, just outside the town of Gattinara. We aimed to create a facility geared towards efficiency, where daily activities converged towards the pursuit of ever-finer quality. A place where we could meet our customers and organize tastings in a pleasant setting, amidst barrels and exposed brick, allowing anyone who wished to embark on a little journey through the winemaking process, with guided tours of the winery.
From the Producer Paride Iaretti Gattinara Wines:
I love this land, these hills, these vineyards, which I’ve spent my life tending like children. Behind me, Monte Rosa, acting as a guard, a shield for the vines. In front of me, my hometown, Gattinara, stretches out at the foot of these splendid bunches of Nebbiolo grapes that fill my heart. The cool climate of Alto Piemonte, the favorable exposure of our vineyards, and the mineral-rich volcanic soil give our wines unique characteristics that cannot be replicated elsewhere. I have always strived to bring excellence to our barrels, adhering to the strict production regulations that limit the quantities produced per hectare, for the benefit of a unique product.
In the cellar, we age the wine, aided by the slow passage of time and the seasons, to give our customers, after four years, an emotion, even before a bottle. But the character of our wine is forged much earlier. It takes shape and heart from the work done in the vineyard. From the daily commitment, from the constant, almost obsessive care of the vines.
