Lake Orta walk for Peace . From the Convent of Mount Mesma to the Sacred Mount of Orta

Meeting at 9.30 am in the square of the Convent of Mount Mesma. Departure at 10.00 and walk on a path suitable for everyone on roads and paths between the Mesma and the Sacred Mount with a final moment of deepening at 12.00 “Peace as a possible horizon. Ideas for being active in change.

Participants will be guided by walkers from the Sportway and Friends of Santiago association on a journey of about an hour. Recommended booking for organizational and security reasons. Free Membership

Dear friends, walkers and supporters of peace,

you are invited to a unique experience of culture, beauty and spirituality. The Managing Body of the Sacred Mountains of Piedmont, in collaboration with Sportway and Friends of Santiago Novara, is proud to present the March for Peace 2026.

A suggestive route that combines two jewels of our territory: the mystical Convent of Mount Mesma and the enchanting Sacro Monte di Orta San Giulio UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In a frame of faith, art and nature, each step of ours will be a symbolic gesture towards an ideal of brotherhood and harmony.
