From 25 to 27 September 2026, the hilltop village of Ameno is transformed into the capital of folk music and overseas traditions. Three days of concerts, craft markets and workshops for the whole family.
AMENO (NO) – Notes of bagpipes that resonate within the ancient walls, the overwhelming rhythm of traditional dances and an atmosphere of the past. From Friday 25 to Sunday 27 September 2026, Ameno hosts the seventh edition of the Claddagh Fest, the long-awaited festival dedicated to Celtic culture and folk music that attracts fans from all over the region and beyond every year.
The event, which has now become a fixed event of autumn on Lake Orta, offers a rich program that combines entertainment, culture and enhancement of the territory.
A journey through music and traditional dances
The beating heart of the festival will be live music. On stage will alternate bands of importance of the folk and Celtic scene, able to make the audience dance with Irish and Scottish rhythms. There will be dance internships open to everyone, from beginners to more experienced dancers, to learn the steps of traditional choreography.
Markets, workshops and typical flavors
In addition to music, the Claddagh Fest is a 360-degree experience to live:
Themed crafts: The streets of the village will host stalls of artisans with creations in wood, leather, Celtic jewelry and typical clothing.
Workshops and re-enactments: Adults and children will be able to participate in educational workshops to discover ancient crafts and mythological legends.
Gastronomy: Dedicated refreshment points will offer culinary specialties and a wide selection of craft beers and mead.

The festival will take place entirely in the historic center of Ameno (NO), a few minutes from the shores of Lake Orta. Access to the event area and markets is free, while some specific activities may require reservation on site.
