FIDES Charity Weekend

On 12 and 13 September 2026, the splendid setting of Le Pigne World in Monteoro hosts the first historic Piedmontese race of the Italian Federation of Sports Detectorists. Two days of solidarity, treasure hunt for children and a unique show of falconry.
AMENO (NO) – A weekend where outdoor adventure marries solidarity and play. Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026, the Monteoro resort of Ameno is transformed into the headquarters of the 1st Meeting and Race FIDES in Piedmont. The event, sponsored by the Intrecci Association and hosted in the spaces of the Le Pigne Adventure Park, promises to attract to metal detecting enthusiasts, nature lovers and families from all over the Lake Orta and Mottarone area.
The event was born with a strong beneficial and inclusive spirit, offering a rich range of activities designed both for professionals of the discipline and for those who simply want to spend a day of relaxation and fun.
The weekend program: between competitions and treasure hunts
The two days will open at 08:00 with the meeting and the collective breakfast on site, followed by the official opening of registrations for the competitions (free for members and open to non-members).

The challenge of the detectorists: The official competition will see the participants try their hand at field research according to the regulations of the Italian Federation of Sports Detectorists. The awards ceremony and the distribution of gadgets will conclude the competitive moments.
Activities for families and children: Parallel to the main event, children can turn into real pirates thanks to a fun treasure hunt organized in the woods and participate in the great charity fishing.
The charm of the Falconry: The highlight of Sunday is scheduled for 13:00 with “The Raptor Woods”, an extraordinary naturalistic show curated by the Intrecci Association, which will allow adults and children a close encounter with owls, beards and majestic birds of prey to learn the biological importance within the ecosystem.

Flavors of the territory and logistics
The reception of the participants will be supported by a Food & Drink area of excellence, with the opportunity to enjoy an aperitif or a dinner based on typical local products at the nearby MonteOro Restaurant. For those who want to live the experience in full, the organization has provided a camping area for tents and campers directly on site, as well as special agreements with accommodation facilities in the area.
